Namara is a very attractive modern self catering holiday cottage of great charm located in the hamlet of Tighphuirst, within walking distance of the village of Glencoe, the world renowned walking, climbing and mountain biking centre. The cottage is an ideal base for exploring the area with excellent water sport facilities on Loch Leven and skiing is on the doorstep. |

Although of modern construction this detached cottage has appealing features associated with older cottages and all rooms are tastefully decorated with attractive individual pieces of furniture to reinforce the rustic appeal. Downstairs is the inviting lounge, with rugs and the attractive oak floor which is fitted throughout the downstairs area. It is decorated in warm Mediterranean colours featuring a natural stone open fireplace, comfy seating and TV. The kitchen with dining area is dominated by a rustic timber beam and natural stone pillar. It is well equipped including a dishwasher, microwave and freezer. The bathroom features a novel bath unit set in a clinker rowing boat! Also on the ground floor is one double bedroom also with oak floor. Upstairs are a further three double bedrooms, two with en suite facilities. One has the luxury of a timber balcony offering scenic views across Loch Leven and the surrounding mountains. |

Glencoe has a selection of hotels, pubs and village shops nearby. Glencoe is a world renowned walking, climbing and mountain biking centre. Fort William - the Outdoor Capital of the UK - is only 14 miles to the north. The Ice Factor Climbing Centre is just 7 miles away in Kinlochleven. There are excellent water sport facilities on Loch Leven and skiing is on the doorstep. This cottage is a great base for lovers of the outdoors set in wonderful scenery with a wealth of activities on hand at all times of year. |
